School Business Manager/Bursar Cover Service
The aim of the service is to provide schools with emergency School Business Manager/Bursar cover due to key staff absences or gaps in employment between leaving and starting of personnel. Schools purchasing annual Finance Support Package have priority to this service.
The precise financial duties to be undertaken by the Peripatetic Bursar will be subject to agreement with the Head Teacher, but some of the tasks we can cover include:
Ordering and Invoicing
Central Reconciliations
Bank Reconciliations
VAT Returns
Payroll Input
LA Returns
CFR
Year End Returns
Cash Flow
School Fund Accounting
Reports to governors
Attendance at governor meetings
Budget planning
Training office staff on financial procedures
Any other financial tasks
